SUSAN'S STORY
Susan Chamberlain Shipe, a writer since the age of eight when she and her neighborhood friend wrote, edited, published, and distributed The Manor News. Things have changed since publishing with the five and dime stamp lettering set! Today, she enjoys creating important books, writing short devotions, and short stories from a Tiny House in Upstate South Carolina, which she shares with her husband of forty-plus years, Lowell, where they are both learning "from farm to flat to tiny house" living.
In 2018 a friend and fellow blogger asked if Susan would assist her in the process of writing a devotional. In 2019 Susan's sister began writing children's books and asked her if she would edit and help publish the books. In 2024 Susan encouraged her friend and Bible teacher to gather her devotional prayers and publish them. Thus, The Vine Pubs, expanded and today has published 44 books.
